General Principles


At Kingston St Mary we aim to work with parents to build a positive relationship which supports the best outcomes for our pupils.   Unfortunately there may be occasion when a difference in opinion occurs between a parent and the school; we would hope that such a difference could be resolved through informal and constructive conversation.  
If informal approaches do not resolve the problem satisfactorily, then the schools’ formal complaint procedure should be followed.
The Formal Complaints Procedures should only be invoked when initial attempts to resolve the issue are unsuccessful and the person raising the concern remains dissatisfied and wishes to take the matter further.
