When will I receive the instrument?

If you have hired an instrument with us, we will make sure it is delivered to your child's school.  Please note: instruments are only delivered to the school upon payment of the invoice.

What if it needs repairing?

Before you receive the instrument, our Resources Technician will ensure that it has been checked and is in good working order.  If problems occur through fair wear and tear, the instrument can be returned to us via the school for repair.  We will try and provide a replacement instrument.  Please do not attempt to do your own repairs or make your own arrangements to have the instrument repaired.

Should we insure the instrument?

Yes; please arrange all-risks insurance cover as soon as possible.  The RRP price is written on a label in the case. If you cannot locate this, please contact the Resources Technician for the information.  Damage is most likely to occur when instruments are unfamiliar to children.  You could specify an all-risks extension to your home contents cover.

What if it is lost or stolen?

We will then ask that you pay for a replacement (therefore you need to ensure that you have the appropriate insurance to cover for this).

I have been paying for instrument hire but now intend to buy an instrument for my child. What should I do?

We are pleased that your child is enjoying their lessons so much.  To cancel the instrument hire arrangement, you should contact the Resources Technician who can make arrangements to collect the instrument.  You will be required to return the instrumnet to the music tutor and collect a receipt. This will ensure that our records are amended to show that you no longer hire.
