As always, we would like to thank families for the continued support. It really does show the answer to the question: "Does your child like coming to school?"

A message from the Life Bus:

"Life Education is a charity providing age-appropriate health and drug prevention education support to schools. The specially equipped classroom provides an experience for the children whilst contributing to our Personal, Social, Health and Citizenship curriculum. The age-appropriate programmes help children to understand the wonders of the human body and how to look after it.
• In Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 (Nursery to Year 2) they learn about keeping their bodies healthy, feelings, being a good friend and the safe use of medicines.
• At Key Stage 2 (Years 3 to 6) the experienced and specially trained Educators help children to consider the effects and risks associated with the use of drugs, including medicines, alcohol and tobacco. In addition, children learn about choices that can affect health and well-being, skills of friendship and how to cope with bullying and peer pressure.
We would like to invite you - the parents/carers - to visit the Life Education Mobile Classroom on Wednesday 13th to find out more about what the children will be experiencing. The session will last 30 minutes and will start at 3pm
Workbooks at £2 each (one for each age group), which can be used at home to support your child’s learning, are available during the session. Also available are limited edition Harold Zip Tags at £1 each. Children love to use these on coats, school bags and pencil cases, and they are also great for party bags and seasonal gifts."

School Centred Initial Teacher Training have sent us this lovely certificate to thank us for our work with trainee teachers. We take our collaborations very seriously and our pupils have always shone when it comes to interviewing future teachers!
