Sarah Stringer

Headteacher and part-time KS2 teacher

I qualified as a teacher in 1999. I worked part-time whilst bringing up a family before becoming Headteacher. At Winsham I am the Safeguarding lead and my specialist subjects are English and Drama. In my spare time I enjoy reading and visiting theatres and museums.

Elaine Mee

KS1 Class teacher

I am responsible for English, Early Years and Key Stage One amongst others, as well as being senior teacher in the school. My specialist subject is English, which may go some way to explaining my love of reading. I also enjoy crochet, knitting and cross stitch and like to get out and about near my home, using photography to capture the beautiful local landscapes and nature.

Part-time KS2 Class teacher

I started working at Winsham in September 2015 and teach in KS2 all day Tuesdays and Wednesday, Thursday, Friday mornings.  I am responsible for the maths and English teaching, topic and some PE.  My specialist subject is History, but I also LOVE Maths.  In my spare time, I like running, netball, walking, cooking cakes and puddings and reading.
Mrs Eastwood

Mrs Parsons

Teaching Assistant

I joined the team at Winsham in 2012 when my family moved into the village. I work as a TA at the school; either in the classrooms or 1:1 support- but I am always darting around spreading glitter, display board creations, smiles and assistance!  I have two children of my own who attend Winsham.

I am also the chairperson of the PFA. This is a hugely rewarding role, seeing how much we are able to fundraise for our small school.

Outside of school I love spending time with family and friends, arts, crafts and being near the sea.

Jenny Robbins

Lunchtime Assistant

I have lived in Thorncombe for 20 years with my family of five.  My youngest daughter goes to Winsham School as did older members of my family in years gone by.
In my spare time I enjoy walking my dogs, horse riding, and watching Columbo Films!

Lunchtime Assistant

I have lived in Winsham all my life and now have two children who attend the school.  I am passionate about the future of the village and the school.  This is a very unique school and most definitely lives up to its logo “Small school, big heart, great opportunities”
I love to spend time with my family and friends, taking my children on adventures.  I enjoy cycling, kayaking and playing football in my spare time and of course going on holiday!
